KTS Recycling‘s partner sites, YRRS Recycling, have partnered with AgSafe company drumMUSTER to provide the Yarra Valley with a safe way of disposing and recycling of old chemical drums. The best part about this program, is that its free for customers to bring their old drums in for recycling!

Who Are Drummuster?
drumMUSTER provides an easy, environmentally-friendly way of disposing of empty farming chemical containers across rural Australia. drumMUSTER and ChemClear are stewardship programs of Agsafe funded by an ACCC authorised levy. AgStewardship is responsible for collection and governance of the ACCC authorised levy; its members are CropLife Australia, Animal Medicines Australia Limited, Veterinary Manufacturer’s and Distributors Association and the National Farmers Federation.
What Is Accepted Through Drummuster?
Drums that will be accepted through this program must adhere to strict rinsing and cleanliness guidelines and standards. They can be found at the Drummuster Cleanliness webpage.
Drums will also not be accepted unless they have the drumMUSTER logo on them (as shown below)
Our team members at Coldstream Transfer Station will inspect every drum that comes onto the site before we accept them. Our team are trained to assess these drums for cleanliness and can refuse to take any drums onto site.
