QSE Compliance Officer- Knox Transfer Station

Details of the positions

• To analyze, monitor and maintain the QSE system of KTS Recycling.
• Internal Auditing of policies and procedures.
• To monitor corrective and preventative actions and improvements.
• Data entry, administration tasks and management of registers.
• To organize QSE related training and inductions for staff.
• To conduct audits as required.
• Travel between KTS sites is a requirement.
• To amend and issue authorised management system documents.
• Report HSE related incidents/injuries to management and assist with investigations of incidents.
• Co-ordinate safety inspections.
• To engage with staff to create an open dialogue on QSE matters.
• Liaise with relevant external organisations such as the EPA, Worksafe and Councils.
• Prepare reports for management.

Mobile Plant Operator – Coldstream

Details of the positions

• Mobile Plant Operator needed for Coldstream Transfer Station, 200 Leonard Road Lilydale
• Overtime and penalty rates apply.
• Casual position, that could result in a full time position.
• Sunday to Thursday roster.
• Rates are paid in accordance with the Waste Management Award.
• Required to operate a material handler/front end loader. Experienced excavator operators should also apply.
• Overtime and penalty rates apply when/if required to work weekends and public holidays.

Mechanic- Wantirna South

KTS Recycling is Melbourne premier resource recovery and waste transfer station operator. KTS operates 4 transfer stations in Melbourne’s Southeast and focus on the recovery of recyclable materials to reduce waste from landfill. Our Knox site operates 7 days a week, closing only Good Friday and Christmas Day.

KTS Recycling is seeking a qualified mechanic to join our team to maintain & repair our plant & equipment at our site in Wantirna South.

Details of the positions

• Mechanic to work from our transfer station in Wantirna South (Knox Transfer Station)
• $50 per hour
• Monday – Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm + overtime when required.
• Ensure maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are met to ensure a safe and road- worthy fleet.
• Completing service records and reporting on stock consumed.
• Servicing/repairs will be conducted on various trucks and trailers, stationary and mobile shredders, wheel loaders, and material handlers (excavators).

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Trade Qualified in Certificate III or IV in Automotive / Mechanical – Heavy Vehicle Road Transport
• Solid experience within a workshop environment working on various trucks
• Previous experience in the field
• Current driver’s license
• Heavy Vehicle drivers’ license would be favourable (HC)
