Yard Person/Labourer – Wantirna South

KTS Recycling is Melbourne’s premier resource recovery and waste transfer station operator. KTS operates four transfer stations in Melbourne’s South East and focuses on the recovery of recyclable materials to reduce waste from landfill. Our Wantirna South, Coldstream and Skye sites operate seven days a week, closing only Good Friday and Christmas Day. Wesburn is open Friday – Monday only

Details of the positions

• Labourer’s needed for Knox Transfer Station.
• Physical recovery and recycling of waste material.
• Interaction with residential and commercial customers.
• Assist with general cleaning of the site.
• Rates are paid in accordance with the Waste Management Award.
• Casual positions.
• Weekend work may be required for some sites.

• Positive can do attitude.
• Hands on, self-motivated individual with the ability to motivate others.
• Punctual with strong communication skills.
• Physically fit.
• Forklift license is advantageous but not essential.

Mobile Plant Operators – Wantirna South

• Mobile Plant Operator/picker needed for Knox Transfer Station.
• Required to operate a wheel loader/material handler.
• Casual Position.
• All days/hours available.
• Rates are paid in accordance with the Waste Management Award
• Overtime and penalty rates apply when/if required to work weekends and public holidays

What We Are Looking For

• Excavator/Front Loader ticket required.
• Material handler experience preferred but not essential.
• OH&S minded individual.
• Customer and team focused.
• Positive can do attitude.
• Hands on, self-motivated individual with the ability to motivate others.
• Punctual with strong communication skills.
